Large refurbishment and extensions to modern property

Our design involves linking these two masses to create a linked entrance gallery to create a focal point on its entrance, while converting the ground floor of the garage into a gym, large boot room and WC. The first floor was converted into two good size bedrooms both with en-suites. The front entrance can now be seen from the gallery and existing kitchen on the first floor creating a warmer and welcoming entrance. Behind the new entrance we have created the grown-up entertainment space, private bar complete with pool table and darts area and plenty of space to entertain in.

The first-floor kitchen is now re-connected to the garden through an extended terrace at the rear. This gives the home direct access to outside space without the need to descend a set of stairs first, perfect for outside dinning in the nice weather. The ground floor has also been extended under the terrace, creating a bigger master bedroom suite, complete with large walk-in dressing room while extending the other three bedrooms on this side of the house.

A double storey side extension was also added to create a bigger 2^nd reception room on the first floor, while using the space on the ground floor as a plant room, shower room and covered hot tub area.

Not only have we modernised and adjusted the layout of the house, but we have also introduced smart technology with the introduction of solar panels and a ground source heat pump system.

For this project we were involved throughout the entire process from design development and planning right through to tender and onsite contract management. While the intricate design and completed detailing led to a stressful moments on site, we were pleased to see this project completed and used by happy clients.
