CROE Architects were appointed to investigate the development potential of an existing group of agricultural barns consisting of four individual barns in different styles, both old and new located within the Green Belt.
After completing the survey of the existing buildings, we proceeded with a feasibility study looking at the unit mix and areas that would comply with various planning policies. Barns within rural settings are required to go through a planning route called prior approval, with certain conditions being met before proceeding with further planning applications.
